(The Song of Solomon 4:7) You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you.
The Holy Spirit testifies that God’s people, the Church, are free from the slightest flaw. I not only see flaws; I see huge gaping wounds in myself. However, the Holy Spirit in Song of Solomon 4:7 reveals something that is too wonderful for me to comprehend. Not only am I, “No longer condemned;” I’m now as spotless as the Lamb of God, Jesus. (2 Cor. 5:21) “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” This verse explains the exchange: Christ was made sin so that believers could become the righteousness of God in Him.
So I’m not lying when I tell people, “I’m good looking.”
