Kathie Lee Gifford says, “God made her famous because she would be faithful to Jesus”

She is saying that God, by His foreknowledge, knew she would be worthy of being made famous. Put another way, she is saying she earned God’s appointment to fame. No one is worthy of God’s favor based on their own merit or actions. It is a gift of grace. Believers are considered worthy not by their own actions, but because they are “in Christ,” and we are in Him because of God’s unmerited favor; called grace. (Ephesians 2:8-9) “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
